The Federal government has mandated that all states implement Appraisal Management (AMC) licensing procedures within 3 years beginning in 2010. Many states have already implemented licensing requirements making it illegal to conduct services in their state without a license. Be sure your AMC is licensed in each state before accepting work from them.
